In Stillness
Oil on Canvas
24 × 36 inches
In Stillness captures a solitary figure seated before an expansive mountain landscape—a quiet moment suspended between earth and sky, past and present.
With subtle references to ancestry, memory, and our relationship to the land, the work considers what can be found when we become still enough to listen. The figure looks outward, yet the moment feels deeply inward—a pause for reflection, remembrance, and connection to what came before.
There is strength in the stillness here. The landscape becomes more than a setting; it holds memory, presence, and a sense of continuity across generations.
